Biography
Growing up in a multi-generational musical family in Portland, Oregon, Tony Glausi began to sing and play the piano at a very young age. Citing Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, and Earth Wind & Fire amongst his earliest influences, by ten years old he had started to play the trumpet and write music, laying the foundation for his forthcoming artistic evolution.

For nearly a decade now he has resided in New York City and can currently be heard playing with his band on Saturday nights at So&So’s on 52nd Street. To date, Glausi has produced nine albums of his own, garnering awards, high-praising press, and an ever-growing fanbase spanning all ages. A diversified composer, he has been commissioned by top-tier artists and organizations to write for string orchestra, wind ensemble, big band, short films, and a wide variety of contemporary chamber ensembles.
